Eastern Ways Martial Arts has been proud to serve the Sacramento area since 1995.
Tai Sifu Hubbard and Tai Simo Molina founded Eastern Ways in 1995 with the goal of making quality, individualized training in traditional martial arts available to all. The first Eastern Ways school opened in Fair Oaks and is still in the same location, although the look of the school has changed greatly throughout the years.
The demand for training all across the Sacramento area and beyond, as far as Vacaville, Vallejo, Fairfield, Placerville and more, led Tai Sifu Hubbard and Tai Simo Molina to open a second location in Folsom in 2004. The Folsom location was originally 3 dental offices, which were painstakingly demolished and rebuilt, with much of the work done by Eastern Ways Instructors. Folsom has been the flagship of the Eastern Ways schools, signaling forward progress while maintaining stability. The Folsom school continues to service Folsom, El Dorado Hills, and beyond.
The third and newest Eastern Ways location is in Elk Grove. Construction delays and a booming housing market had people lining up in order to tour the Elk Grove school and begin training, and business has yet to slow down. As the newest of the Eastern Ways locations, Elk Grove benefits from years of experience teaching in Fair Oaks and Folsom in its design.
Over the years, Eastern Ways students have trained to Black Sash and beyond, and Eastern Ways Instructors have competed locally, nationally and internationally with great success. Our students and Instructors have traveled to China and other parts of Asia in order to view some of the original schools associated with our Choy Li Fut kung fu, and participated in many exchanges with international students of the martial arts.
We look forward to a long future helping you meet your training goals!
