Hans Chun started in the martial arts in 1988 at the age of 8 with traditional Japanese aikido. At age 12 he trained in tae kwon do. In 1999, he began training with Eastern Ways Martial Arts in traditional Choy Li Fut Kung Fu and Yang style Tai Chi Chuan. In 2001 he was honored to become the personal student of Tai Sifu Alan Hubbard, 6th Generation in the lineage of Choy Li Fut, 3rd Generation in Yang style Tai Chi Chuan and disciple of Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong. Sifu Chun is a Lion and Dragon Dancer. Sifu Chun is the head instructor of Eastern Ways Martial Arts' Folsom school under Tai Sifu Hubbard. He teaches as a full-time profession the arts of Choy Li Fut Kung Fu, Yang style Tai Chi Chuan and Lion Dancing, and has been teaching full-time since 2001.

Mr. Manning has studied Choy Li Fut kung fu and Yang style Tai Chi Chuan with Eastern Ways since 1999. He has traveled to China with Eastern Ways on 2 separate occasions, and regularly attends and medals in tournaments throughout Northern California.
In 2006, he traveled to China for the Huajian Garden Cup in Xuwen, China where he won 2 gold medals.

Mr. Zsoka has competed at tournaments across Northern California and has won several medals.
