Sifu Matt Stroh started his training in Choy Li Fut Kung Fu in 1998 under Tai Sifu Alan Hubbard. Under Tai Sifu Hubbard he also began training in Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan. Since 1999 Sifu Stroh has had the privilege of training directly with Tai Sifu Hubbard, 6 th generation Choy Li Fut Disciple, 3 rd generation Yang Tai Chi Disciple and personal student of Grand Master Doc Fai Wong. During his training since 1998 he has had the great opportunity to train directly with Grand Master Wong on a regular basis. Sifu Stroh was awarded the rank of Senior Advanced Level (Black Fringe) and on the recommendation of his teacher Tai Sifu Hubbard, promoted to the level of Sifu by Grandmaster Wong on March 12, 2005. Sifu Stroh is an accomplished Lion and Dragon Dancer. Sifu Stroh is the Head Instructor of Eastern Ways Martial Arts in Elk Grove, California under Tai Sifu Hubbard. He has been teaching Choy Li Fut, Yang Tai Chi, and Lion Dancing .full time since 1999.

Mr. Rowe started training in Choy Li Fut Kung Fu and Yang Syle Tai Chi in 2003 at Tiger Kung Fu Academy in Reno under Sifu Zai, a personal student of Tai Sifu Hubbard. Mr. Rowe quickly excelled in the arts and became an instructor in 2005. Mr. Rowe moved to the Sacramento area in 2007. Upon moving to the area he joined Eastern Ways Martial Arts and went through the rigorous training to complete the Instructor Training requirements and was again certified a full time instructor of Eastern Ways Martial Arts in 2007 under Sifu Stroh.
Mr. Rowe is an accomplished lion dancer performing at countless events and parades including multiple performances at the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade. He has competed in many tournaments including the Plum Blossom International Federation Tournament where he has won many medals including gold medal for weapon forms. Mr. Rowe also earned the Outstanding Instructor of the Year Award for 2009. Mr. Rowe teaches Kung Fu and Tai Chi full time at the Elk Grove Studio.

Mr. McCain teaches Choy Li Fut Kung Fu and Yang Style Tai Chi at Eastern Ways in Elk Grove. He has competed and performed throughout Northern California including events such as the Bok Kai Festival and The California State Fair.

Mr. Eschen teaches both Choy Li Fut Kung fu and Yang Style Tai Chi. He is an experienced Lion and Dragon dancer having performed at events all over Northern California. He is currently in training in the United States Army Reserve and will return to teaching in late November 2011.
